Pieter S. Myers is a writer and artist whose concentration is works on paper. As a printmaker, Pieter has specialized in photogravure, that is, limited edition hand-pulled copperplate etchings of images derived photographically.

Pieter received his BA degree in studio arts from Colorado College with a specialty in printmaking at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center. While living on the Monterey Peninsula in California, he practiced large-format fine art photography, studying with Ansel Adams, Wynn Bullock, and other master photographers of the area. Other important influences include portrait study with Joyce Tenneson and photogravure training at Crown Point Press in San Francisco. Pieter has exhibited nationally and internationally.
